Professional Class Programme – Spring 2025
Gary Clarke Company are offering a unique opportunity for professional dancers and students in dance training to attend FREE professional company classes in April 2025 as the company prepare for a national tour of their new mid-scale dance theatre show DETENTION.
The programme will be split into 3 blocks, is FREE OF CHARGE and will be led by members of Gary Clarke Company and various guest teachers. The classes will be 1 hour 15 minutes in length, professional level, contemporary in style and held at various dance venues in Leeds.
The programme is a great way to maintain technical standards, further connect with the company and network with new people and creatives.

Block 1
- Tuesday 8th April – Tiia Ourila
- Wednesday 9th April – Tiia Ourila
Location: Northern School of Contemporary Dance, 98 Chapeltown Road, Leeds, LS7 4BH
Time: 9.45am – 11am
Block 2
- Tuesday 15th April – Rachel Krische
- Wednesday 16th April – Rachel Krische

Time: 9.45am to 11am
Block 3
- Monday 28th April – Mayowa Oggunaikie (Gary Clarke Company)
Location: Northern Ballet Theatre, 2 St Cecilia St, Quarry Hill, Leeds LS2 7PA
Time: 9.15am – 10.30am
- Tuesday 29th April – Gavin Coward (Gary Clarke Company)
Location: RJC Studios, The Mandela Centre, Chapeltown Rd, Leeds LS7 3HY
Time: 9.15am – 10.30am
Due to studio size, Gary Clarke Company can only offer 10 FREE places per class and is on selection first come first served basis. Classes are at a professional level, therefore selection is based on level of experience in contemporary dance styles. If registration is oversubscribed, individuals will be limited to a maximum of 2 classes over the 3 Blocks to allow fairness.

Deadline for all a classes is Friday 4th April 2025
Invited individuals will receive a confirmation e-mail with more details.
