#6 How creative communities can shape our future

Join award winning choreographer Gary Clarke (Creator and Director of the hit productions COAL and Wasteland) and Stephanie Sirr, Chief Executive of Nottingham Playhouse, plus special guests, for a live, interactive online conversation.

They will be discussing a range of issues facing theatre and dance currently, including the relationships between artists and theatres – and how to grow and develop them. They will also be addressing the vital role of community outreach, and praising dance’s ability to change and inspire lives, now more than ever, with input from community members. Looking to what the future holds, Gary and Stephanie will discuss the current position of Nottingham Playhouse and Gary Clarke Company’s aspirations moving forward with another socially challenging production on the horizon.

The event will be hosted on Zoom. You will need to create a free Zoom account in order to take part. We will not use your registration details for anything other than the administration of this event.
